FROM SPAIN: Mobile World Capital Barcelona will arrange the world’s largest mobile event for four days from February 24.

Some two hundred specialists technology, operators, handset manufacturing institutions, content providers and people concerned of mobile technology are taking part in the event from various countries including Bangladesh.

GSM Association, an association of mobile operators and related companies devoted to supporting the standardizing, deployment and promotion of the GSM mobile telephone system, declared Barcelona as world mobile market capital.

Following the event the city is decorated to welcome about 80,000 guests.

New smart phones, tablet PC, other mobile devices and accessories will be displayed as usual.

Besides, new technologies, hybrid devices, new operating systems also will be showcased in the world’s largest mobile event.  

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, IBM CEO Virginia Rometty, Telenore Group president Jon Fredrik Baksaas, Ford Motor Company president of Europe, Middle East and Africa Stephen T Odell, among others, will join the event.
