FROM BCC AUDITORIUM: Incumbent Awami League government will introduce fourth generation (4G) internet by this tenure.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, came up with the assertion in a view-exchange meeting at city’s Agargaon on Saturday.

ICT Division and Access to Information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minister's Office organized the programme at Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium.

Sajeeb Wazed said, “Any operator can start providing 4G service taking permission while many wimax service providers are given permission for 4G.”

With Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director SM Ashraful Islam in the chair, Special Guest State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak, Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Additional Secretary, ICT Division attended the meeting.
