DHAKA: Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the state minister for ICT division, on Saturday launched his personal android app to stay connected more with the people.

With this app, people now can easily contact with the state minister more easily, even can call him.

In a status on his personal Facebook profile, the junior minister claimed his app will be the first personal app in Bangladesh.

‘Introducing a personal android app for the first time in Bangladesh and stay connected as always,’ he said on Facebook just before launching personal app.

The app contains Zunaid Ahmed Palak’s life sketch, his latest updates, political résumé, achievements, social connections and feedback.

Developed by a local software firm called Ezze Technology, the app can be downloaded for free on any android device while its IOS and Windows versions are yet to be launched.

In the app description, the developers said, ‘Zunaid Ahmed Palak is a Bangladeshi lawyer and politician from the Bangladesh Awami League and a member of the Parliamentary Treasury Bench’.

‘He is the youngest minister in the National Assembly of Bangladesh. He has been elected from his ancestral area in Natore. His victory in the National Elections in 2008, at the age of 28, made him as the youngest lawmaker in Bangladesh.’

Earlier, popular social networking site Facebook verified the official page of him, making him one of the very few personalities or politicians in Bangladesh to have a fan page verified by the Facebook authorities.
