DHAKA: Visitors and buyers were seen gathering on Friday, the weekly holiday, on the second day of the 3-day laptop fair at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in city.

Several internationally acclaimed brands are conceding from Tk 1,500 to 10,000 on the price of laptops for the fair.

Besides, buyers are getting pen drives, mousse and polo shirts for buying laptops from specific models. Android tabs are there as prizes in the raffle draw.

Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu inaugurated the fair on Thursday (May 14) with the slogan of ‘Laptop for Everyone’.

Fifty stalls along with seven mini pavilions and three pavilions have been setup at the fairground.

The fair will remain open from 10:00am to 10:00pm till May 16.

Entry ticket is priced at Tk 30 but entrance for the students up to class X will be free.

However, the organizers said that proceeds will go to the victims of Nepal earthquake.
