DHAKA: State minister for Information Communication Technology (ICT) ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that the government will provide 3G network facilities in all upazilas of the country by September.

He made the disclosure at the closing and laptop distribution program of DUITS National Campus IT Fest at TSC of Dhaka University in city on Monday afternoon.

According to Palak, the 3G facilities have already been provided in district headquarters including the capital city.

‘The facilities have also been provided in many upazilas. But the government will ensure this service in every upazila by September next.’

The state minister further said that he will send a proposal to the premier to celebrate December 12 as IT Day.
