DHAKA: ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak announced that 1,70,000 academic institutes across the country will be digitized or in other words, will be made "smart".

Aiming the implementation, digital lab will be installed in 9,000 institutes apart from more 20,000 regular labs, he said.

Palak made the disclosure while attending inauguration of Cambrian School & College's Smart campus in Mohammadpur here Wednesday (September 4).

BSB Foundation Founding Chairman and Cambrian Education Group Owner MK Bashar, teachers, students, guardians and ICT officials were present.
