DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over zero point to stand at 4,197 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 110,124 with transaction at Tk 3,810 million. Of the issues traded, 128 advanced, 126 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 232 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ARGONDENIM, RNSPIN, GP, IFIC, ENVOYTEX, BEXIMCO, ONEBANKLTD, UCBL and UNITEDAIR.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,934 by gaining over 32 points.

Out of the issues traded, 98 gained, 95 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
