The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday (Oct 4) announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk1,167 per bhori.
The price of gold has been slightly reduced in the country's market, according to a press release by Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) today.
The price of best quality gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167. In this, the buyer has to pay Tk 97,044 a bhori of 22-carat gold (11.664 grams).
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow (Thursday), BAJUS confirmed.
Earlier, on Saturday (September 30) BAJUS announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk1,749 per bhori.
The price of gold, the precious metal used mainly for ornaments, has been fluctuating for over a year.
