The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday (December 6) announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk1,750 per bhori.

According to BAJUS press release the price cut will be implemented from Thursday (December 6).

The price of one bar (11.664 grammes) of gold has been reduced by Tk1,750.

The new price of 22 carat gold per bhori has been fixed to Tk 1,08,125 in the country.

The price of a 21 carat gold bar has been now fixed Tk 1,633 to Tk 1,03,226.

Earlier, gold prices were cut three times on October 1, 5 and September 28 by 4,200 in total.

Later, on 16 and 27 October and 5, 19, 27, and 30 November the price of gold was increased by 10,499 in total.
