Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) is organising an exhibition of hundred-year-old ornaments to preserve the tradition of handicrafts made by local artisans.
BAJUS has called upon the people with ancient jewellary to take part in an exhibition.
The exhibition will showcase the fine craftsmanship and tradition of the indigenous jewellery industry at the national and international level, said a press release on Thursday (January 4).
The organisers hope that domestic ornaments will create export opportunities for Bangladeshi jewellery in the international market.
The trade body urged the interested people who have hundred-year-old traditional jewellery collection to contact with BAJUS office by 20th January to display in the exhibition.
