A three-day jewellery exposition, styled "Bajus Fair-2024", kicked off at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka today (February 8), aiming to promote investment in gold as a means to secure a brighter future.
BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir inaugurated the fair in the morning.
To align with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Vision 2041, BAJUS President has planned to organise the mega event for the third time.
BAJUS fair is the largest jewellery exposition in the country.
With the theme “Investment in gold, savings for the future”, some 41 companies will showcase the strength of the local jewellery industry in this year’s fair.
Officials of BAJUS hope the three-day fair will play a role in boosting the domestic jewellery industry and creating a strong position for Bangladesh in the global market.
The fair featuring nine pavilions, 17 mini pavilions, and 15 stalls will remain open for visitors every day from 10am to 9pm.
