Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) today (March 19) reduced the price of gold has declined in the local market.
The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS fixed new prices of gold at a meeting today.
Taking into consideration the overall situation, it was unanimously decided to fix the price of gold and silver in the Bangladesh market, read a press release.
As per the new prices, to be effective from 20 March, the price of 22-carat per gram gold is now at Tk 9,530.
The price of 21-carat of gold has been fixed at Tk 9,100 a gram, 18-carat per gram at Tk 7,800 and the traditional one (18-carat) at Tk 6,500 each gram.
The prices of 22-carat silver, 21-carat silver, and 18-carat silver are Tk 180, Tk 172, and Tk147 per gram respectively.
The price of traditional silver is Tk110 per gram.
