The ICCB Heritage Restaurant opened its renovated duplex facility on Monday to provide a regal experience of traditional Mughal cuisine on a larger scale for food lovers.
Located at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), the restaurant features a lakeside view of the 300-foot Road, the ultimate destination of the Dhaka dwellers.
Officials of Bashundhara Group inaugurated the renovated building of the ICCB Heritage Restaurant at a function with ICCB Chief Operating Officer MM Jasim Uddin in the chair.
Bashundhara Group Treasurer Maynal Hossain Chowdhury, Senior Deputy Managing Director Mustafizur Rahman, Sector-A Chief Human Resources Officer Shaikh Ehsan Reza and ICCB Accounts and Finance Division head SM Monirul Islam Polash were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Jasim Uddin said the Heritage Restaurant at the ICCB tries to convey the food habits of the Mughals to the new generation.
“People of Dhaka will be able to experience the extraordinary food arrangements and realise the royal life. This restaurant will remain as a symbol of Mughal tradition in the heart of Dhaka for ages,” he said.
The official said the Heritage Restaurant launched the renovated new building to provide enough space for food lovers of the country on a larger scale.
Polash said the restaurant has been identified as a special restaurant in Bangladesh.
“As the first signature restaurant on Mughal cuisine, the entire eatery facility is decorated with a touch of traditions. The ICCB Heritage Restaurant has not only come to be a medium of indulgence but has also come to preserve a taste and a tradition,” he said.
For the first of its kind in Bangladesh, the ICCB Heritage commenced its journey as the lone concept restaurant in Dhaka in 2021 to make the real food habits of Mughals.
