Gold prices in Bangladesh have reached a new all-time high. The price of 22-carat gold has increased by Tk2,624, now standing at Tk1,67,833 per bhori (11.664 grams), according to the Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS).
This hike comes just three days after gold hit a previous record of Tk1,65,209 per bhori. The new rates will take effect from Sunday.
Per gram, 22-carat gold will cost Tk14,389, 21-carat Tk13,735, 18-carat Tk11,772, and traditional gold Tk9,730.
Silver prices remain unchanged, with 22-carat silver priced at Tk221 per gram.
