The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will begin selling essential items at affordable prices from 690 mobile trucks across the country starting tomorrow (May 23), ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

The sales will continue daily, including Fridays and holidays, until June 3. Items like edible oil, sugar, and lentils will be sold under the Ministry of Commerce’s supervision.

Of the trucks, 50 will operate in Dhaka, 20 in Chattogram, 10 each in six divisional cities, and 10 more in each of the remaining 56 district cities.

The TCB also continues distributing subsidized goods to low-income families with Smart Family Cards.
