Bangladesh received $1.306 billion in remittances during the first 13 days of September, equivalent to roughly Tk 13,900 crore at the exchange rate of Tk 121.75 per dollar, according to data released by Bangladesh Bank on Monday (September 15).

Private commercial banks received the bulk of inflows, $968.71 million, and foreign banks operating in Bangladesh brought in $2.77 million.
