DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over one point to stand at 4,592 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 86,400 with transaction at Tk 4,208 million. Of the issues traded, 126 advanced, 133 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 502 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, HEIDELBCEM, OLYMPIC, BSC, MPETROLEUM, SQURPHARMA, PADMAOIL, ABBANK and BSCCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,900 by gaining over 28 points.

Out of the issues traded, 81 gained, 122 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
