DHAKA: BRAC Chicken on Thursday launched its first quick service restaurant `eat@` to provide its customers with “quick prepared foods”, says a press release on Friday.

BRAC Enterprises senior director Tamara Hasan Abed inaugurated the outlet at the level 5 of Jamuna Future Park in Baridhara area of the city.

The release says the ‘eat@’ service is supported by a strong back-end value chain network connecting urban customers with rural farmers to ensure fresh and healthy foods.

The outlet will remain open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm daily except Wednesday. Beside the ‘eat@’ food cart is also being operated at BRAC Kanon in Niketan of Gulshan area, it adds.

BRAC Enterprises programme head Nazra M. Sabet and other BRAC officials also present at the inaugural function.

The new services would be expanded with on-the-go outlets and express restaurants through franchises within 2014, according to the release..
