DHAKA: The car manufacturers of the country have launched a brand new family car (Sobari) at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre at only Tk 6.45-lac.

The car was unveiled at the last day of three-day long exhibition ‘The Biggest and Only Show for the Automotive World of Bangladesh’.

The 5-seated diesel-run car is designed totally by home entrepreneurs. The car was shaped and made with local equipments except the engine. The engine was imported from India and the rest of the parts were assembled at Abhoynagar of Jessore district.

This is a good mileage car which has got a highest speed of 75-kilometer per hour. It is also a low cost car and cost effective as it runs by diesel. It will run approximately 35-km per liter.

Besides this the interior of the car is well decorated as well with LED, DVD-Audio player and so on.

Mohammad Rowshan Khan, the Marketing Manager of Sobari car, told banglanews that the very first car of the country has got a great possibility of reducing unemployment and boosting the fame of the country.

He also said that it is one of the cheapest cars in the world as one can purchase that at only Tk 6-lac and 45 thousands including vat.

Around 45 companies took part in the motor show where 25 companies are local. There was a big sale on motorcycles on the other hand the motor parts of Jeep, Private Car and mini truck were available there.

There a plenty of motor cars and parts were available in the exhibition for the car lovers. The title sponsor of the exhibition was Nitol-Niloy Company Limited.
