DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over zero point to stand at 4,378 at the close on the second trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 59,158 with transaction at Tk 2,360 million. Of the issues traded, 108 advanced, 127 declined and 59 remained unchanged.

FAMILYTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 130 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, GP, BSRMSTEEL, MERCANBANK, SALVOCHEM, APOLOISPAT, BSC and HEIDELBCEM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,417 by gaining over 20 points.

Out of the issues traded, 59 gained, 120 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
