DHAKA: Key share price indexes at both Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a mixed trend on Sunday, the first day of trading after two-day weekend.

Sources told banglanews that though, the both bourses were witnessing positive trends in the early hours of trading but later the price index of DSE and CSE went down.

However, after starting with 4,772.50 points, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached to 4,797.00 points by one and a half hours in the morning.

But, later it started to go down and stood at 4,773.50 points at around 2:30pm before closing the trading.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, starting from 1,075.00 in the morning, saw a negative trend in early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, to fall at 1,061.50 by 12:00pm.

But, it saw 1,070.69 points at 2:35pm.
