DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 81 points to stand at 4851 at 1:15 pm.

Trade deals stood at 46677 with transaction at Tk 2030 million.

Of the issues traded, 226 advanced, 35 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

ABBANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 136 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9094 by gaining over 135 points at 1:17pm.

Out of the issues traded, 131 gained, 32 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
