DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over six points to stand at 4,937 at 12:50pm.

Trade deals stood at 31531 with volume of transactions at Tk 516 million.

Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 152 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 44 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9270 by dropping over 19 points at about 12:49pm.

Out of the issues traded, 38 gained, 98 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
