Godrej launches Good Knight Advanced Fast Card

DHAKA: Godrej Household Products (Bangladesh) Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading FMCG companies in the country, launched the Good Knight Advanced Fast Card - a new mosquito repellent format, the first of its kind - on Friday.

The Fast Card will provide effective protection from mosquitoes to the millions of Bangladeshi homes that are currently not using any solution.

The highlight of Good Knight Fast Card is that it burns for just three minutes, instantly driving mosquitoes away, while remaining effective for nearly four hours.

It consumes no electricity and is easy to use, which makes it different from all other repellents in the market.

The product has been priced at Taka 15 for a booklet of 10 cards, which means Taka 1.5 per card.

Chief Operating Officer, Sales and Marketing (SAARC) of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Sunil Kataria said, “A large part of the population in our countries do not use any mosquito repellents. We feel that there is a need for a solution that is effective, easy to use, and at a price point that is attractive to the masses.”

He further said, “Simple, innovative and economical, this format promises to change the way Bangladeshis look at mosquito repellents. All one needs to do here is fold, light, and blow out for instant protection.”

The Brand Ambassador for Good Knight Advanced Fast Card, cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza shared his expectations about this “breakthrough” saying, “It’s easy to use and works like a rocket.”

He also addressed the need to reduce the high rates of malaria and dengue in our country, and he recommended Good Knight Advanced Fast Card as the fastest and most effective mosquito repellent in its category.

Attending the launch, Anirban Banerjee, the VP – SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., also attended the launching ceremony.
