DHAKA: Key share price indexes at both Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a daylong positive trend on Tuesday after previous day’s significant fall.

However, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached up to 4,800.75 points by 2:30pm, starting from 4,769.50 points in the morning.

Tuesday’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were MEGHNAPET, MEGCONMILK, EXIM1STMF, ILFSL, SAIHAMCOT, INTECH, PREMIERLEA, BEXIMCO, MIRACLEIND, and EBLNRBMF.

Nevertheless, AAMRATECH topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 126.84 million having changed hands, after the trading.

The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were BEXIMCO, GP, IFADAUTOS, SAPORTL, AGNISYSL, SQURPHARMA, MJLBD, ILFSL, and BXPHARMA.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw a positive trend round the day with its Selective Category Index, CSCX.

The index, which was in 1,072.25 points at 10:30am, reached up to 1,081.75 points while closing the day’s trading.
