DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the prime Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over one point to stand at 4,877 at 11:52am.

Trade deals stood at 23924 with volume of transactions at Tk 726 million.

Of the issues traded, 112 advanced, 134 declined and 46 remained unchanged.

AGNISYSL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 64 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9139 by dropping over 12 points at about 11:51am.

Out of the issues traded, 66 gained, 88 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
