DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of DSE, rose over 29 points to stand at 4,867 at 11:19 am.

Trade deals stood at 11,787 with transaction at Tk 329 million.

Of the issues traded, 146 advanced, 90 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 28 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9131 by gaining over 31 points at 11:19am.

Out of the issues traded, 64 gained, 61 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
