DHAKA: Transactions at all the banks along with share market will remain closed on Wednesday on the occasion of year-ending bank holiday.

The concerned officials of banks, on the last day of 2014, are set to prepare their annual financial statements, sources added.

According to the sources, though all the branches of different commercial banks and their head offices along with the central bank will remain open in this regard, but, no transactions will take place on the day.

However, like 31st December, transactions at all the banks along with share market also use to remain closed on July 1 every year. The banks prepare their half-yearly statements that day.
