DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved five projects, including three new and two others amended, involving Tk 1354.62 crore.

The approval came from the ECNEC meeting held at the NEC conference room in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with its chairperson Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told the matter to reporters.

Sources said among the total projects expenditure the government would finance Tk 1302.49 crore and Tk 2.13 crore will come from project aid.
