DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 10 points to stand at 4,954 at 11:31 am.

Trade deals stood at 25,812 with transaction at Tk 1085 million.

Of the issues traded, 139 advanced, 107 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

ALLTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 53 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9211 by gaining over 17 points at 11:31am.

Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 63 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
