DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 7.67 points to stand at 4838.35 at 1:30 pm.

Trade deals stood at 62140 with transaction at Tk 3593.39 million.

Of the issues traded, 138 advanced, 117 declined and 54 remained unchanged.

KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 150.58 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9016.94 by gaining over 9.46 points at 1:27pm.

Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 89 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
