DHAKA: Country's stock market marked slight gain in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 10.93 points only to stand at 4841.61 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 97999 with volume of transactions at Tk 5196.40 million.

Of the issues traded, 164 advanced, 114 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 196.50 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMSTEEL, BXPHARMA, UNITEDAIR, SAIFPOWER, AMANFEED, SQURPHARMA, GP, LAFSURCEML and IDLC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9018.10 by gaining over 10.61 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 107 gained, 92 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
