DHAKA: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has organized a view-exchange meeting with editors of electronic, print and online media with a view to raise awareness about income tax among the people.

The view-exchange meeting will be held on Monday afternoon at Officers’ Club in city on the sixth day of ongoing National Income Tax Fair.

NBR chairman Nojibur Rahman will preside over the meeting.

Finance minister AMA Muhith is expected to attend the program.

Earlier on September 19, for the first time, NBR organized talks with social media about income tax.

On September 16, industries minister Amir Hossain Amu inaugurated the weeklong Income Tax Fair at Officers’ Club in city.

The fair will be ended on September 22.
