DHAKA: Country's stock market marked significant fall again in its price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 68.59 points only to stand at 4608.03 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 83876 with volume of transactions at Tk 3108.93 million.

Of the issues traded, 44 advanced, 250 declined and 23 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 466.54 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMSTEEL, SAIFPOWER, KDSALTD, BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, BSRMLTD, GP, UNITEDAIR and CVOPRL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8567.93 by dropping over 143.78 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 33 gained, 192 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
