DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, Broad Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 11.86 points to stand at 4499.44 at 12:16pm.

Trade deals stood at 30497 with volume of transactions at Tk 1483.92 million.

Of the issues traded, 86 advanced, 160 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS  topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 152.97 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8372.70 by dropping over 23.00 points at about 12:14pm.

Out of the issues traded, 44 gained, 100 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
