DSE, CSE showing up

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Tuesday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 18.41 points or 0.39 percent to 4705.61 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:45am.

Trade deals stood at 57609 with volume of transactions at Tk 2448.492 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 167 advanced and 75 declined while 49 remained unchanged.

CNATEX was the most traded share by value worth Tk 110.7280 followed by BDTHAI, ITC, QSMDRYCELL and UPGDCL in changing hands.

Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index (CSCX) gaining 30.221 points to 8735.117, at 11:42am.

Of the issues traded till then, 95 gained, 58 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
