DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 5.81 point to stand at 4620.32 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 137311 with transaction at Tk 5152.28 million. Of the issues traded, 138 advanced, 146 declined and 42 remained unchanged.

SAIFPOWER topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 236.83 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ALLTEX, IFADAUTOS, ITC, RAKCERAMIC, GHAIL, UPGDCL, EMERALDOIL, CVOPRL and QSMDRYCELL.

On the other hand, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed  up to 8656.20 by gaining over 2.70 points.

Out of the issues traded, 111 gained, 115 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
