DHAKA: Both the bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing loss in share prices indices in the early hours on Tuesday (April 26), the third trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost over 21.32 points or 0.49 percent to stand at 4300.30 points at 12:42pm.

Trade deals stood at 46,455 with transaction at over Tk 1826.06 million. Of the issues traded, 83 advanced, 155 declined and 63 remained unchanged.

BSRM Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 357.32 million having changed hands on the day.

Other toppers of the market were United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd., MJL Bangladesh Limited, Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd., Gemini Sea Food, Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited, ACI Limited, Aman Feed Limited, Aman Feed Limited and Apex Foods.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 33.60 points to stand at 8043.65 at 12:39pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 55 gained, 116 declined and 35 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 117.05 million till then.
