DHAKA: National Board of Revenue (NBR) decided to keep open all custom houses and bond commissionerate from September 9 to 11 during Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate the export-import business of RMG industry.

NBR public relations officer Syed A Mumen confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Monday afternoon (September 5).

Custom houses will remain open in Dhaka, Chittagong, Mongla, Pangaon, Benapole and ICD Kamalapur -- and two bond commissionerates in Dhaka and Chittagong.

Similarly, NBR asked all custom houses and stations along with ports, banks and other stockholding organizations to remain open in the these days.

The NBR also directed the commissioners concern for taking proper initiative to ensure minimum presence of officials and inform stockholders, he said.
