DHAKA: Country’s stock markets marked fall in its price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 66 points only to stand at 3,882 at the close of the day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 66,275 with volume of transactions at Tk 2,465 million.

DELTALIFE topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 313 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were UNITEDAIR, ORIONPHARM, CMCKAMAL, BSCCL, ARGONDENIM, TALLUSPIN, RNSPIN, BEACHHATCH and JMISMDL.  

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,584 by dropping over 137 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 15 gained, 188 declined and nine remained unchanged.
