DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 29 points to stand at 3,829 at the close on the forth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 66,431 with transaction at Tk 2,258 million. Of the issues traded, 193 advanced, 61 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

ARGONDENIM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 110 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, ENVOYTEX, DELTALIFE, BDBUILDING, JMISMDL, BSCCL, MEGHNACEM, CMCKAMAL and GP.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,464 by gaining over 42 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 120 gained, 66 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
