DHAKA: Investors witnessed negligible gain in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 27 points to stand at 3,989 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

The volume of transactions stood Tk 3,915 million with 109,274 trade deals.   

Of the issues traded, 160 advanced, 106 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

ARGONDENIM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 205 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were UCBL, DELTALIFE, ENVOYTEX, GENNEXT, GOLDENSON, BEXIMCO, TAKAFULINS, NBL and ACTIVEFINE.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,828 gaining over 77points.

Out of the issues traded, 101 gained, 95 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
