DHAKA: According to the new pay scale, the workers of readymade garments will be paid minimum salary Tk 5,300 per month from December 1.

Labour and Employment Minister Raziuddin Ahmed Razu came up with the assertion after a meeting with workers’ leaders on Thursday noon.

He also said that the workers also will get five percent increment on their basic salary.
