The results of 'B' unit in 24 general and science and technology universities under the cluster system admission have been published.
In this unit, 31,081 students got above 30 marks and were considered eligible for admission.
The pass rate of 'B' unit is 36.33 percent. Students will be able to browse their results on the cluster admission website (https://gstadmission.ac.bd /) before 12am on Sunday.
The results were announced at a meeting of the GST Integrated Admission Committee on Sunday afternoon.
The convener of the admission committee and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Anwar Hossain and other university vice-chancellors were also present.
As per the results, 94,631 candidates applied for the 'B' unit under the session of 2023-24. A total of 85,548 candidates took part in the examination.
Out of these, 31,081 students have been considered for admission. Apart from this, the answer sheets of 23 students have been cancelled for various reasons.
Rukaiya Ferdous Lamia, a student of Bir Shrestha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College in Dhaka, stood first in the 'B' unit.
Jessore Science and Technology University Vice-Chancellor Prof Md. Anwar Hossain said the admission test of 'B' unit was held on 3 May. The results of the admission test were announced before the scheduled time.
“I sincerely thank the teachers, officers and employees of the cluster universities who were involved in the preparation of question papers, moderation and related activities for conducting the examinations in a fair and smooth manner,” he said.
