Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof ASM Maksud Kamal has said the academic activities of the university will resume after the complete renovation of at least 300 classrooms those were damaged during the recent student movement over the quota issue.
Maksud Kamal said this after visiting Begum Rokeya and Sir AF Rahman residential halls of the university on Friday, reports a press release.
“Fund for the renovation will come from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and then we will issue a tender in light of the Public Procurement Rules (PPR),” he said.
Responding to a query, he said the academic activities will resume once the renovation work of the 300 classrooms is completed and normalcy returns.
