The online application process for Class XI admission for the 2025–26 academic year began today and will continue until August 11.

Students must apply through the official website (xiclassadmission.gov.bd) as manual applications will not be accepted. The application fee is set at Tk 220.

Applicants can choose a minimum of five and a maximum of ten colleges. Selection will be based on merit, quotas, and student preferences. Science group students may switch to any stream (science, humanities, or business studies), while humanities and business studies students may only choose between those two streams.

There will be no admission tests; selection will depend solely on SSC and equivalent exam results.

The results of the first phase will be published at 8 pm on August 20. Following the second application phase, classes are scheduled to begin on September 15.

Admission fees for MPO-listed colleges have been capped: Tk 5,000 in Dhaka city, Tk 3,000 in other cities, Tk 2,000 in districts, and Tk 1,500 in upazila or rural areas.

For non-MPO colleges, fees differ. In Dhaka, Bangla medium students will pay Tk 7,500 and English medium students up to Tk 8,500. In other cities, the fee is Tk 5,000 (Bangla) and Tk 6,000 (English). At district-level colleges, fees are Tk 3,000 and Tk 4,000, while in upazilas, fees are Tk 2,500 and Tk 3,000, respectively.

Applicants are advised to complete the process within the deadline to avoid complications.
