The final list of the National Film Awards 2021 winners has been approved by the cabinet committee on National Awards.
According to sources, noted actors Dolly Zahur and Ilias Kanchan have got ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for their contributions to the country’s film industry.
‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ directed by Matia Banu Suku and Rezwan Shahriar Sumit’s ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’ have got awards for Best Film. Rezwan Shahriar Sumit won award as Best Director for his debut film ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’.
Siam Ahmed and Mir Sabbir have won Best Actor awards for the films ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ and ‘Raat Jaha Phool’ respectively. Azmeri Haque Badhon (‘Rehana Maryam Noor’) and Tasnova Tamanna (‘Nonajoler Kabbo’) have been jointly named for Best Actress award.
Best Supporting Actor award goes to Fazlur Rahman Babu for his performance in ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’, Shampa Reza has been named for the Best Supporting Actress award for ‘Poddopuran’.
Md Abdul Mannan Joyraj has got the Best Actor award for Negative Role in ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ while Milon Bhattacharya will be given the Best Actor (Comedy) for ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’.
Shujeo Shyam will receive the Best Music Director award for ‘Joiboti Konnyar Mon’. Muhinhas got award for Best Singer (Male) and Chandana Mazumdar has got Best Singer award (Female) for the film ‘Poddopuran’.
The Best Lyricist award has gone to Gazi Mazharul Anwar for the song ‘Ontore Ontor Jala’ from ‘Joiboti Konnar Mon’, while Shujeo Shyam will be given the Best Composer award for the same song.
Other awards winning artistes are— Afia Tabassum (Best Child Artiste for ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’), Jannatul Mawa (Special Award in Child Artiste Section for ‘Ja Hariye Jai’), Rezwan Shahriar Sumit (Best Script Writer award for ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’), Nurul Alam Atique (Best Screenplay Writer for Lal Moroger Jhuti), Tauquir Ahmed (Best Dialogue Writer award for the film Sphulingo), Samir Ahmed (Best Editing award for ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’), Shihab Nur Nabi (Best Art Direction for ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’), Syed Kashef Shahbazi, Sumon Sarker, and Mazharul Razu (Best Cinematography Team for ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’).
Sayba Talukder (Best Sound Designer for ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’), Edila Farid (Best Costume Designer for ‘Nonajoler Kabbo’), Md Farukh, Md Farhad, and Reza Milon (Best Makeup team for Lal Moroger Jhuti’).
‘Dhar’, produced by Reza Galib, will get the Best Short Film award while the Best Documentary Film award went to ‘Boddhyo Bhumi Te Ekdin’, produced by Kauser Chowdhury.
