The much-awaited grand finale of the 71st edition of the Miss World 2024 pageant, marking its significant return to India after a 28-year hiatus, will take place in Mumbai on Saturday night. The event will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Sini Shetty, the winner of Femina Miss India 2022, will represent India at the Miss World 2024 pageant.
The event will be broadcast in more than 140 countries and territories.
At the end of the “Beauty with a Purpose," event, Miss World 2023 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor.
Hosts and Performers at Miss World 2024
Filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines will host the star-studded event which will also see a scintillating performance by singer Neha Kakkar and her brother Tony Kakkar. Singer Shaan will also perform at the event.
In addition to this, Polish model Karolina Bielawska, the winner of Miss World 2021, will be in attendance too.

According to the Miss World Organization, the 12-member panel of judges who would play a crucial role in selecting the next global ambassador of beauty include film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Journalist Rajat Sharma, Actress and Social Worker Amruta Fadnavis, MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited Vineet Jain, Chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organization Julia Morley CBE, Strategic Partner & Host – Miss World India Mr Jamil Saidi, Actress Kriti Sanon, Actress Pooja Hegde and three former Miss Worlds.

A total of 112 contenders are in the running for the coveted Miss World 2024 “Beauty with a Purpose" themed competition. This year, of the 112 contenders, 28 contestants are representing the African nations of Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Representing India at the contest this year is 22-year-old Sini Shetty, a Mumbai native having roots in Karnataka. She is a trained dancer and completed her Arangetram in Bharatanatyam at the young age of fourteen. She has learned Bharatanatyam under the legendary classical dancer Radhakrishnan Padmini.
