DHAKA: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married Saturday in France, in a private ceremony attended by family and friends, says a spokesman for the Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39.

A California judge presided, reports USA Today.

The couple’s children took part in the wedding. Jolie walked the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10. Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw petals. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers.

This is a moment we’ve been waiting for since 2012. The two got engaged on April 13, 2012. And later that year, when asked when they were getting married, Pitt famously replied, “The time is nigh.”

But it wasn’t. In 2013, Jolie shared that she had undergone a double mastectomy. And the couple’s work lives have been full - she had Maleficent and Unbroken on her plate.

He was busy with World War Z, 12 Years a Slave and more. They even announced they’ll be starring in By the Sea, their first film together since 2005’s Mr & Mrs. Smith, the film that brought them together.
