DHAKA: Star Cineplex arranged the Dhaka premiere of one of the latest Hollywood movies ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ in 3D at its hall at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in city’s Panthapath area.
The movie was premiered at Tuesday evening.
It will be screened at 11:00am, 1:30pm, 4:15pm and 7:00pm from Friday onwards.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, was premiered in Hollywood on July 21.
The film, directed by James Gunn, who also wrote the screenplay with Nicole Perlman, features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro.
The tenth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, has earned a critical and financial success, having grossed over $547 million worldwide.
A sequel has been announced and is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2017, reports Wikipedia.
